My stepdaughter has an HP laptop. The adapter outlet for laptop where it connects to the computer (the round plug) has come loose cables. I took it to MicroCenter and asked if could put a new plug in it for me. I said no and said I should buy a whole new power adapter is $ 79.99. so expensive.
I think that small caps could be replaced without having to spend lots of money for a power adapter for laptop new ( Business Notebook nc8430 adapter Sector Notebook).
Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions as to whether the cap can be replaced and he could wherei done?

LAPTOP ADAPTER PROBLEM …. help!?
Good morning. I have an Acer Aspire 5610 and I had some problems with the adapter. Well, I am supplied with the official power, but sometimes when my laptop is plugged in (and loading the form and at the same time) if I move the Notebook slightly, the CAP in battery mode, then back to HQ. Its annoying that when this is done, there is a change in the brightness the screen for one second or less. I tried to make all power settings (eg brightness, processor speed …) the same for both modes, but still can not get rid of annoying change when less brilliant. Today, at the beginning there was an error message saying that the adapter is used is not steel, but it is official. Please help … You can have a connection problem or something, or the card may be dead (only 9 months). I do not want to spend much money on this, and I would prefer a solution that I can do, if possible. Thank you!
